Qatar's November 27-29 weekend returns to a standard format with three practice sessions, qualifying and a 57-lap Sunday Grand Prix at 7:00 PM local time. Lusail's 5.419-kilometre layout is dominated by medium- and high-speed corners, with its kilometre-plus main straight making Turn 1 the decisive braking zone.

The opening practice session for first setup runs and an early look at track conditions.
The long main straight creates the slipstream and heavy braking opportunity into Turn 1. After that, Lusail becomes a flowing sequence with few truly slow corners or long recovery points. Front-end confidence helps a driver hold the intended line, while one slide can compromise the tyres and several corners that follow.
Fast, linked bends keep energy in the tyres, so teams must understand wear and temperature across a stint rather than chase only qualifying speed. Running beyond the track edge can erase a lap or bring penalties, and windblown dust can change grip across the exposed venue. Current FIA and tyre-supplier event notes should always take precedence over assumptions from earlier Qatar races.
FP1 starts at 4:30 PM and FP2 at 8:00 PM Friday; Saturday has FP3 at 5:30 PM and qualifying at 9:00 PM; Sunday's race begins at 7:00 PM. Lusail International Circuit is outside central Doha, so check the final promoter transport, shuttle and parking instructions rather than relying on a normal city journey.
