A driver needs traction from the slow Turn 5 hairpin to maximise the longest straight, then braking stability for the main move into Turn 6. The following straight offers an immediate counterattack before the lap flows through faster, banked Turn 9 and into the tighter marina-side finish.

FP2 is the representative practice because daylight fades in the race window
