Know the difference

F1 Calendar Subscription vs .ics Download

Subscribe for updates. Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook periodically check the calendar URL again, so revised session times can appear in the same calendar. Refresh timing is controlled by your calendar app and may not be immediate.

A downloaded file is a fixed copy. If your device imports the .ics file as ordinary events instead of subscribing to its URL, those events will not change automatically. For a whole season, subscription is the safer choice.

Always recheck before travel. F1 weekend dates and session times can change. Confirm important plans against the official 2026 Formula 1 calendar.

Quick answers

2026 F1 Calendar Subscription FAQ

Does the F1 calendar show times in my timezone?

Yes. Events are supplied with UTC start times, and Google, Apple and Outlook normally display them in the timezone selected on your device or calendar account.

Will subscribed F1 events update automatically?

A subscribed calendar can refresh when the feed changes. Your calendar app decides how often it checks, so a revised time may take a while to appear.

What is included in the full 2026 F1 calendar?

The current full feed contains 115 scheduled sessions across 23 Grand Prix weekends: practice, Qualifying, Sprint Qualifying, Sprints and races where applicable.

Can I add only the Grand Prix races?

Yes. Select the race-only feed for 23 Grand Prix starts without the other weekend sessions.
